I understand that the Device Assistant will give results based on the choices I input for required or desired features of an AAC device. The results are based on my input in the way I choose to answer the questions and their choices. I also understand that the questions and the data associated with it are being modified based on feedback from a variety of sources, including myself, as a user of this product. (Please give feedback if a device you expected to see, does not come up in the results). I also agree to take the results only as information to consider, and will use additional resources, as needed, to make clinical decisions and recommendations. Finally, I understand that this is only one clinical tool and is most effective when used in conjunction with an AAC evaluation completed by a qualified speech pathologist and/or team of assistive technology professionals.
